Our friends at UofAz National Center for Interpretation are offering two new webinars for Mandarin-language interpreters:

Interpreting for Medical Interventions for Heart Attacks
April 11, 10am-1pm Pacific Time

Interpreting for Medical Interventions for Strokes
May 2, 10am-1pm Pacific Time

These live, instructor-led webinars will discuss the medical terminology related to these conditions. They will cover how they occur, healing and recovery, diagnostic tests that may be performed, treatments, and the common medical recommendations for continued care. The primary goal of the webinars is to familiarize the interpreter with as much of the related terminology as possible and to help the interpreter understand the process in order to better interpret.
