Subscribe to NITA e-news
Here we explain the two options available to you to stay connected with NITA: through email updates or RSS syndication. As an aside, you can follow NITA news, announcements and events through social networks like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and LinkedIn, where our updates are also posted.
First, we’ll go through the available email subscription options. Below, we explain the RSS (a.k.a. newsfeeds) syndication method.
Subscribing via email
Whenever a new article or announcement is posted here on NITA OnLine, a notification is sent automatically via email to our subscribed members. Even if you’re not a member of NITA, you can still stay in the loop: on this same page you can subscribe to such notifications, or cancel those if you don’t wish to receive those anymore.
When you subscribe you will receive a confirmation email message with a special link; you must click that confirmation link; it’s to check whether you typed your email address correctly and, moreover, to keep others from signing you up. Of course, we try and keep the number of announcements to a reasonable minimum, at best a few times per week, as we don’t want to flood you.
Our members can select the topics about which they want to receive notifications; if you’re not a NITA member, your only option is to receive notifications from all categories. If you are a member and you’re logged in to this site, you’ll see instead a link below that’ll take you to the section in your member profile page, where you can select from any of the notification categories (or unsubscribe from any or all of them).
Syndicate news and events with RSS feeds
As an alternative, in case you prefer to use news syndication to track news and updates around the world wide web, via RSS, Atom or similar feeds, we offer our RSS News Feed showing our latest news and announcements that you can subscribe to. Of course, you can also use our RSS Events Feed to track the last 10 event announcements. Copy any the following links to place them in your favorite news reader (e.g. Google Reader, Thunderbird, Firefox Live Bookmarks…) to keep track of our news without even visiting our site:
