The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA)

The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA – see their website) presents its next conference in its Language of Business series. GALA 2011 will be two and a half days of learning and networking and will bring together suppliers, technology providers and buyers of translation and localization services to collectively share, discuss and debate the latest trends in localization, language, and global content delivery.

GALA 2011 attendees can gather practical, instantly applicable knowledge, enriched and expanded contacts, and renewed energy and motivation. GALA 2011 will bring the global content delivery community together for planned and spontaneous interactions that benefit all members of the language and localization industry, including providers of language services and managers of global content. Attendees will include seasoned translation, localization and language technology professionals as well as professionals managing global content.

The GALA Language of Business conferences offer something new every year, including an exciting new location, spontaneous learning and networking, and creative programming. Our attendees value the refreshingly different content and atmosphere of a GALA conference. They see attendance as an investment in their careers and value the openness, innovation, risk-taking and diversity of thinking they get at a GALA conference. They want substance and knowledge that they can immediately put into practice. Our attendees are looking for fresh – and practical – ways to solve their current challenges and for ways to propel their businesses forward.

When & Where: March 28-30 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Note: if you are interest in presenting at GALA 2011, please submit your proposals via the link immediately below before October 8, 2010.
