A NITA Special Presentation Event
The Nevada Interpreters and Translators Association proudly announces a special presentation event, held in cooperation with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocacy and Resource Center (DHHARC), on June 10, 2010 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. This event, which is free and open to the general public, will focus on one central issue, covering several aspects which, as we believe, probably will resonate with many fellow interpreters in spoken languages, and who are offered a great opportunity to become acquainted with a fascinating and interestingly different yet familiar discipline:
Interpreting for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals
The event is hosted by NITA, and presented by the Executive Director of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocacy and Resource Center, Ms. Edina E Jambor, Ph.D. NITA would also like to acknowledge our Past President, Ms. Tracy Young, whose persistent efforts made this wonderful event possible.
