NITA president Karen Tkaczyk is presenting at the Tradulínguas International Technical Translation Conference in Lisbon, Portugal. The Conference is held on May 28 and 29, and offers two full days of sessions on translation and terminology workshops, in English, French and Portuguese, for the professional translator and interpreter of technical, engineering, scientific, and industrial materials.

An anonymous letter dated November 20 of 2009 was sent publicly to the Director of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) of the Supreme Court of Nevada. NITA regrets the form, style and substance of this letter, and strongly disagrees with its suggested logic.
