A NITA Professional Development Event

We are excited to offer new interpreting training this spring. Certified court interpreter and TMCC instructor Genevieve Sefchick is giving training in south Reno over four Thursday evenings, in March and April. This will benefit both your simultaneous and consecutive skills, as well as improve your sight translation.

Please note the reduced registration rate if you sign up before March 8th. To pay just select the appropriate PayPal link for members or non-members. You can also mail a check (postmarked by March 8th for the early-bird rate).

Become a better interpreter! Through the use of a number of different techniques and recorded materials, you will build up your Simultaneous Interpretation and Sight Translation skills. You will also apply different strategies to improve your memorization to help you improve Consecutive Interpretation skills. This course is language specific for Spanish/English interpreters.

About the Trainer:

GENEVIEVE M. SEFCHICK: Ms. Sefchick is a court interpreter certified by the Supreme Court of Nevada, a translator, and a regular instructor of court interpreter courses at TMCC.

Cost

Early bird registration, i.e. received before March 8, 2010: NITA Members: $100 – Non-members $140
Last-minute registration, i.e. received after March 8, 2010: NITA Members: $120 – Non-members $160

NON-MEMBER

Here you can complete payment for your participation in the NITA Interpreter Training classes for which you registered in the previous tab. Please note that your registration will not be final until both your registration information (via the form in the previous tab) and your payment have been received! Although payment is handled preferably through the PayPal payment processing service, you do not have to have a PayPal account (although your payment will be processed immediately if you have a verified PayPal account) as you can also use your credit card to pay through PayPal.
