The AILIA (Association de l’Industrie de la langue / Language Industry Association) have launched a formal certification program for Interpreting Service Providers (ISPs) in Canada. The certification program is based on the National Standard Guide for Community Interpreting Services (NSGCIS).
AILIA invites all ISP to apply for the certification and demonstrate that your organization abides by the NSGCIS. AILIA members receive a substantial discount from the auditing firm, we encourage you to become members of the association, enjoy the many benefits of membership and at the same time help strengthen the language sector.
From NITA, we would like to congratulate AILIA for achieving this significant step forward, for both the interpreting field and the people and organizations served throughout Canada.
For further information on the certification process, please contact AILIA via email at communication@ailia.ca
