Looking back on the ‘Getting Started’ workshop

Click here to join discussion with fellow NITA members of this item in our Forum (log in first to view and participate)On Saturday morning, November 7 NITA hosted the Getting Started in Translation and Interpretation workshop; below a photo impression of the lively presentations held that morning, by respectively NITA president Karen Tkaczyk (who provided an introduction to the translation business), NITA past-president Tracy Young (she provided an overview of the diverse fields of interpretation), and the Executive Director of the Northern Nevada International Center, Carina Black (who provided insight in the T&I business not only with a buyer’s perspective, but also from the vantage point of an engaged and community-oriented non-profit organization).
All in all, I’d say a successful, interesting and highly enjoyable event!
