Looking back on the ‘Getting Started’ workshop

On Saturday morning, November 7 NITA hosted the Getting Started in Translation and Interpretation workshop; below a photo impression of the lively presentations held that morning, by respectively NITA president Karen Tkaczyk (who provided an introduction to the translation business), NITA past-president Tracy Young (she provided an overview of the diverse fields of interpretation), and the Executive Director of the Northern Nevada International Center, Carina Black (who provided insight in the T&I business not only with a buyer’s perspective, but also from the vantage point of an engaged and community-oriented non-profit organization).

All in all, I’d say a successful, interesting and highly enjoyable event!
