KOLO TV Features Importance of Qualified Language Professionals

Reno based TV station KOLO recently featured a report on the strong and ever growing need for translators and interpreters. However, NITA would like to also emphasize the importance of ongoing professional development and adequate training for professional linguists.
Mastering more than one language is a life-long learning process, which involves a mix of academics and real-life experience. We invite members of the public to ensure they hire a qualified linguist for their language services needs, e.g. through the NITA Directory of Language Professionals or the American Translators Association (ATA) nationwide listing.
