September 30 is International Translation Day. Of course, NITA joins in the celebrations around the world of this traditional day, to honor and reflect on our work. One key force behind the popularization of this worldwide yearly tradition is the FIT – the International Federation of Translators – and to mark this year’s International Translation Day, they have issued their traditional yearly statement around the theme of Working Together.
