NITA at ATA Annual Conference in New York City

NITA President and Vice President to Present at American Translators Association’s Annual Conference in New York City
(Reno, NV, June 5, 2009) The Nevada Interpreters and Translators Association (NITA) is pleased to announce that both its President, Karen Tkaczyk, and its Vice President, Judy Jenner, will present at the American Translators Association’s (ATA) 50th Annual Conference to be held October 28-31 in New York City.
Karen Tkaczyk, who has presented at the past two ATA conferences, is giving a presentation for technical translators, based upon her previous industrial experience. It is entitled “If I Spent a Day in a Chemistry Laboratory…”. Judy Jenner is addressing the subject of how to market translation services and gives tricks and tips from business school in her well-received presentation “Lessons from Business School: The Entrepreneurial Linguist.” For more information about this annual conference, which will feature hundreds of sessions and more than 2,000 attendees, please see the ATA’s website at http://www.atanet.org/conf/2009/
