The Nevada Interpreters and Translators Association (NITA) Proudly Presents:

Quarterly April Member Meeting

(Free and Open to the Public)

  • What: NITA member meeting and presentation
  • When: Saturday, April 4, 2009, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by an informal, no-host networking lunch (location to be decided) at 1:30 p.m.
  • Where: 1664 North Virginia St. at UNR / Mathewson IGT Knowledge Center Auditorium (map / driving directions)
  • Who: NITA board members, including presenter Judy Jenner, members, general public and Roger L. Morrison, National Association of the Self-Employed (NASE)
  • Why: Meet fellow NITA members, network, attend free presentations

Cost: FREE for all attendees

  2. 10:15 am – Announcements and Annual Report
  3. 10:30 am – Voting
  4. 10:40 am – Presentation by Roger L. Morrison of the National Association of the Self-Employed:
    “2009 Benefits package and Individual/Family/Small Group Health Insurance through MEGA Life and Health“
  5. 11:30am – Announcement of Election results and acceptance speeches
  6. 11:45 am – Presentation by NITA Board Member Judy Jenner:
    “What I Learned in Business School: Lessons for Linguists”
  7. 12:55 pm – Future Events
  8. 1:30 pm – Networking Lunch – Please join us for our informal no-host Networking lunch located at: UNR Campus food court
  9. 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm – April Board Meeting at Mathewson (IGT Knowledge Center, room 521) – open to all NITA Members
