NITA Mock Exams / Practice Classes

NITA – the Nevada Interpreters & Translators Association – is offering a short set of practice classes for the Nevada Court Interpreters exam in September 2008. If you are a candidate, please do sign up ASAP!
The short course of mock exams will begin on August 14 and will take place at the Northwest Reno Library.
WHERE: Reno Northwest Library, Rooms 109/110 (address: 2325 Robb Drive, Reno, NV – view on Google Maps – click on pin marker on that map for driving directions!)
WHEN: August 14, 20, 27
TIMES: 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
COST:
- NITA Members: $10 per person, per class
- NON-Members: $20 per person, per class
MATERIALS: The instructor will provide the practice materials but bring a tape recorder!
INSTRUCTOR: Marianne Pripps-Huertas, M.A., Federally and California-certified court interpreter. Marianne has over 20 years experience as a court interpreter and translator, as well as a language teacher of children and adults.
