Benefits of NITA Membership
NITA’s goals include raising the profile and visibility of the translation and interpretation profession and elevating the quality and availability of language services in the state of Nevada.
NITA has three “categories” or types of membership, as shown below:

- Students;
- Corporate.
Individual Membership
For professional or aspiring translators and interpreters (i.e.: individual members) – annual membership fee: $35
- Professional development
- Inclusion (by voluntary request) in online membership directory

- Low-cost / reduced-cost classes and seminars

Student Membership
For students (individual members) – annual membership fee: $25
- Meet seasoned professionals
- Informal mentorship programs
- Networking opportunities
- Free attendance to NITA’s quarterly General Member Meetings, with its presentations and workshops
- Low-cost / reduced-cost classes and seminars
- Access to the NITA Forum and full access to website
- NITA Online e-mail address for each member
Institutional/Corporate Membership
For institutions and corporations – annual membership fee: $75
- Professional development for your staff
- Voting rights in board elections (1 corporate vote equals 3 regular votes)
- Visible demonstration of commitment to the profession
- All employees can attend workshops and seminars at the NITA Member rate
- Inclusion in membership directory
- Access to the NITA Forum
- NITA Online e-mail address for every assigned staff member
- Free attendance to NITA’s quarterly General Member Meetings, with its presentations and workshops
- Low-cost classes and seminars
- Advocacy partners for the profession
