Just a reminder that the registration deadline for the NITA Training for Health Care Interpreters (held on Saturdays from April 9 – May 22) is approaching very fast now! In highlights:
A Forty-Hour Professional Development Course:
- Where: St. Mary’s Regional Hospital (Auditorium A)
Reno, Nevada 89501 - When: Saturday, April 9 — Saturday, May 22 2010, 8 am—5 pm
- Who: Trained or untrained interpreters in any language; anyone with an interest in medical interpreting; Bilingual Health Care Staff
- Why: Improve your Medical Language Proficiency, and become familiar with medical interpreting, ethics, and protocols.
